About My Journey

I am Brijesh Ramkhelavan Yadav and I am here to share the journey of my life. .

I was born on 1st oct, 1956 in Rajapur village near Chyavan Rishi Ashram, a district of Faizabad. A celestial place, Chyavan Rishi Ashram is the 123rd holy place of Ayodhya.

Surrounded by such an environment, my parents were amongst the very religious (Dharmik Praviti) people. For the same reason, most of the visitors we had, included saints who even stayed for a long time with us. During their stay with us my father always made sure that every member of the family attended and served them whole heartily. Many times, I even washed their feet and made sure they felt at home. These are the days which inspired me as a child and developed an immense respect for the saints

Adding to that, my father was the in-charge of Ramayan Mandali. I used to travel a lot with his troupe from place to place and enthusiastically fulfilled people’s request of performing kirtan at their said places.

I was only 7 when I started reading the Bhagavad Gita and performing Kirtan which was considered a very young age and hence I used to make sure nobody would catch me while reading.

After my marriage, I had declined my Gavna. My parents and relatives were very sad and tried really hard to convince me to change my decision. Agreeing on the reason to maintain the integrity of my family, I changed my decision. After my Gavna, I moved to Mumbai for a job in 1987 and started working as an LIC Development Officer.

At 32, I took Guru Dhiksha at Rishi Ashram Ramupali Ayodhya from Guru Gaddhi Dhar Mahant, Shree Damodar Das Goswami Ji. My grandfather was a devotee of Lord Shiva, my father is a devotee of Lord Rama and I became a devotee of Lord Krishna.

During my visit to Mumbai in 1975, I visited Radha Rasbihari temple, Juhu. There I met Shree Prabhu Padhji. Listening to his Pravachan, I was shaken. The beauty of the temple too left me awe-inspired. That is when I decided, I would collect enough money and come back to take the membership of ISKON.

My desire got fulfilled in 2002, I became a lifetime member of ISKON, Juhu. After which I started visiting the temple and listening Sathsangs regularly. I was so much enthralled by the Sathsang, that on 27th December 2003 around 4:30 am (I still remember day and time) I saw a dream; in my dream I saw myself standing at shore of Juhu beach with water splashing at my feet and the sea breeze touching me gently, making me shiver. There was nothing around but one giant boat and on that lied a big lotus flower floating on which there were a pair of human feet, shiny and soft. Slowly and gradually I started moving my gaze up-wards. I was stunned and shacked by what I saw – The “Chaturbhuj avatar” of Lord Krishna. The feet were on the land and the head seemed to be touching the sky. It was immeasurable, big, huge, powerful, and had the magnificent glow because of its Mukut which had a peacock feather. He had the chakra, shank, and Gadha in his hands. It was in all essence the Param Avatar of My Lord.

I took the support of wall and closed my eyes and went on thinking, Even in the month of December with waving cold breeze, I was sweating, I felt so warm that I threw my bed sheet only to realize I was dreaming. I woke up abruptly and waited for some time before I closed my eyes to again take the glimpse of my breathtaking dream. I could easily imagine the same sight again with my closed eyes. It is then when I realized that there is some motive behind my dream.

After thinking a lot for few days, I concluded that I have been blessed as it was darshan given to me by Lord Krishna and I should be devoting my life in his Seva. On 12th May 2004, I established a Radha Krishna temple in Dahisar performing Arti and Bhog (3 times a day) daily. Priests from Juhu used to visit my temple to give Pravachan. One of whom was Shree Pramod Das Prabhu. On his frequent visits he used to read Bhagavad Gita and give Pravachan to the residential devotees. After some 25-30 people joined us, we decided that we should register our trust with the help of all Prabhus.

Our task got fulfilled in March 2017 and “Hare Krishna Adhyatmik Kendra” was the name given to our trust by Saint Shree Pramod Das Prabhuji. We didn’t just stop at that. Soon the construction of our 2nd largest Bhavya Temple started which is just 30 km away from Ayodhya and 25 km away from Faizabad railway station in Rajapur village. The first stage of which is successfully completed.

From here, we have decided to provide free education, healthcare facilities for the needful while establishing a yoga center for the better living of the society. There will be free prasad distribution and Pravachan conducted along with the preachings of Bhagavad Gita. But this won't be possible without your help! In these good deeds, we need your contribution to complete and achieve our task. Come be a part of my journey through our trust because -
